Conference for the alcohol monopolies in North America and the Nordics

On Monday the 26th and Tuesday the 27th of August the conference for the alcohol monopolies takes place in Stockholm. Every second year the alcohol monopolies in North America and the Nordics meet. The aim is to share knowledge and discuss the future of responsible drinking and sustainability.

The world in which we all operate is evolving rapidly and our aim is to discuss market development, our common climate challenge, public health and responsible selling. Together we represent a big market share and this marks a great possibility and also a great responsibility to discuss how we can contribute to a sustainable business, says Ann Carlsson Meyer, CEO of Systembolaget.

This year the conference will also focus on how the monopolies together can drive the drinks trade towards zero emissions. During the conference there will be external speakers as well as speakers from participating companies sharing insights and best practices. There will also be panel discussions as well as discussions at round tables and visits to the stores of Systembolaget in Stockholm.

Participants are representatives from:

  • LCBO, Canada
  • NABCA, USA
  • SAQ, Canada
  • Vinmonopolet, Norge
  • Alko, Finland
  • Vinbudin, Island
  • Systembolaget, Sverige
